PUNE, Sept 23: The Institution of Engineers India, Pune local centre will start the second batch for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering GATE 2000 in mechanical engineering from October 1. GATE is an All India examination mandatory for admission to post-graduation in IITS/regional engineering colleges.
Students who have passed the degree examination in mechanical engineering and those who are appearing for the finals are eligible for the course. Students may pay the fees before September 28 as admission is on first come first served basis.
