Skipper Saurav Ganguly has recovered from the viral fever and is most likely to lead the side in its day-night match against Sussex at Howe tomorrow.
Ganguly had his first nets session only today as he had contracted the fever the day after arriving here on Monday.
“Ganguly has recovered fully,” confirmed team manager Rajeev Shukla today.
Confined to bed, Ganguly had to miss the reception given by Marylbourne Cricket Club (MCC) on Wednesday and the dinner hosted by Indian High Commissioner Ronen Sen last night.
In his absence, vice-captain Rahul Dravid addressed the press conference yesterday along with Sachin Tendulkar and coach John Wright.
Ganguly is accompanied by his wife and infant daughter.
