Two persons were killed in separate road accidents while another died in an alleged suicide attempt in the state, police said.Police also fished out a body of Srinagar Municipal Corporation employee from Jehlum.Dawood Ahmad Tantry was killed instantly when a speedy truck hit him on the Isyderbagh-Pattan along the Srinagar-Baramulla highway this morning. Tantray, a resident of Yadipora-Pattan was jogging outside his house when the incident took place.In another incident, Ghulam Nabi Sheikh of Damhal Karhi Pora was killed on the spot after he was hit by a cab at Bijbehara in Anantnag district this morning.Police said Abdul Hamid Mir (35) of Kanihama in Budgam district died on the way to hospital after he consumed a poisonous substance. A case has been registered in connection with the incident and police have started an investigation.Police further said they fished out the body of Ali Mohd Sheikh (33) from Jehlum near Basant Bagh in the city.Sheikh, a resident of Mahrajpora-Batmaloo of central Srinagar was an employee of the Srinagar Municipal Corporation.In yet another incident, two motorcycles collided head on at Monghama in Pulwama district today injuring both the riders.
