Four constables suspended

CHANDIGARH, May 15: Four constables of the city police have been suspended after they were caught checking a truck without any authorisation. SP Traffic Balbir Singh, while confirming the suspension, said that constables Pawan Kumar, Dharam Dev, Hari Singh and Suresh Chand were nabbed by an inspector on May 10. The four had stopped a truck HR-39-5000 loaded with vegetables at the Sector 26 light-point and were harassing the driver, Rajinder Singh, of Hisar, it was added.
