CHENNAI, Aug. 17: The TN State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission has upheld the order of the district forum awarding compensation of Rs 5000 to the mother of a child who sustained injuries on her tongue by chewing a chocolate, which contained a sharp material. The commission held that Parrys Confectionary, the manufacturer of the chocolate was liable to pay the compensation.
