SAS NAGAR, April 26: A fire broke out in the forest adjoining Tarapur Majri village near Mullanpur yesterday evening. According to fire officials the high temperatures accompanied by a dry spell led to the incident. The lone fire tender pressed into service took about two hours to control the fire. However, the tender was kept on the stand by till today morning as a precautionary measure. No loss of life has been reported.
