
PANCHKULA, Oct 31: The Haryana Urban Development Authority HUDA held its first Tatkal Dwar near community centre in Sector 9 here. This grievance redressal initiative is based on a quot;sector intensive approach.quot;
The Dwar was attended by the HUDA Administrator, Abhilaksh Likhi and Estate Officer Ramesh Krishnan among other officials. The entire record pertaining to allottees of Sector 9 and HUDA guideline booklets were available at the Dwar. About 50 sweepers were pressed into action and the entire sector was cleaned.
On October 29, the Administrator along with all the officials, had also inspected the sector and ordered the vacant land near Nirankari Bhawan to be levelled and cleaned.
Forty eight complaints were registered in the Dwar, out of which 2 were disposed of on the spot. The other complaints related to allotment, survey and sanitation wings of Estate Office.
Complaints regarding inadequate water pressure, road maintenance related inspections were done on the same day by the sanitary and engineering staff. Efforts would be made to take time-bound action on these complaints. The next such Dwar would be held towards the end of November 1999 in another selected sector.
