Bollywood Director Rahul Dholakia, of ‘Parzania’ fame, is facing a tough time shooting in Kashmir for his upcoming movie "Lamhaa" as he was forced to pack up twice within a week. The shooting of the film - starring Sanjay Dutt, Bipasha Basu, Anupam Kher and Kunal Kapoor - was stopped on Monday when Principal of Government Degree college, Anantnag, Qazi Ahmadullah intervened to "restore order" in the college where the shooting was on."I stopped the shooting as it is not wise to shoot inside an educational institution and that too when the students are busy taking classes," he said denying reports that the students forced the team to pack up after finding that the script of the film potrayed Kashmir issue as the source of unemployment and poverty. The shooting of the film, being made under the banner of G S entertainment Private limited, was earlier disrupted on October 30 when Kashmiri fruit traders stopped the shooting of the movie at Parimpora, near Srinagar, allegeing the film might portray Kashmiris in a bad light. The trouble started while shooting a scene in which a pheran-clad Kashmiri man was shown loading a box carrying guns into a truck. "We will not allow anymore flirting with our image, Bollywood has already done enough," Shoukat Ahmad, a trader, said.To this, Dholakia said, "Lamhaa is a love story. It is a commercial movie and there are no political overtones to it." On the objections raised by the traders, he said they are misled by the presence of gun-wielding body guards. "The gunmen are not part of crew."He, however, said the people of Kashmir are very cooperative and helpful. "We have no problem with them nor they have any with us," he said.
