NEW DELHI, March 31: Four masked men walked into Model Town residence, helped themselves to some cash and jewellery, watched a spot of television and then walked out on Wednesday morning. Garment factory owner S.K. Jain, his wife and their daughter were fast asleep while the robbers raided their house, their front door wide open. The incident took place around 4 a.m.
The family had apparently not locked the front door since access to this door was through the ground floor house entrance, which was locked. Unfortunately for them, the four men decided to enter the house from the terrace. The four first climbed onto the neighbour’s terrace, crossed over to the Jain terrace and entered the house through the open front door. It was only when the robbers were leaving that the family woke up from their slumber and raised an alarm. There have been no arrests made so far.
