I have been working on this album since the last two years and am sure it will take the country by storm,8221; adds Mehndi who has not only sung for the album but has also written and composed music for Bismillah.
Having lent his voice for chart toppers of films like Rang de Basanti and Sing is Kinng, Mehndi wants to continue with his own albums besisdes playback singing. 8220;The Punjabi numbers in the films are used to pull the crowd. However, it is the taste of the world. The music, rhythm and style has been widely used in Indian and international compositions,8221; adds Mehndi.
The singer attributes his versatility to his strong classical base. Reviewing his career Mehndi says, 8220;The most fulfilling thing is the uniform hype on my work ever since 1995. I have given one hit each year that has musically united the nation and this unification through my music has been extremely gratifying.8221;
