CHENNAI, July 20: A city college girl was admitted to a hospital in comatose condition after she was attacked by a gang of eve-teasers in an autorickshaw just outside her college in Egmore. An operation has been conducted on her and she has been shifted to the intensive care unit. This incident has been registered as an ‘accident case’ according to a senior police official who stated that the police were informed five hours after the incident took place.
