RIO DE JANEIRO, JANUARY 30: Brazil forward Edmundo ran away from police on Saturday when he was about to be arrested for playing cards for money with friends on Rio’s Ipanema Beach. Gambling in card games is prohibited in Brazil. Police said they had surprised the player and that some of his friends were arrested.
