PANCHKULA, May 19: The Panchkula police claim to have solved two cases of ear-ring snatching in Sectors 4 and 6 on May 14 with the arrest of a youth recently.
Labh Singh, who was on a scooter, was nabbed at a naka put up for him. Resident of Safipur village in Roopnagar district, the youth was arrested in Sector 21.
quot;Before he took to snatching ear-rings, Labh Singh worked as a security guard in a factory in S.A.S. Nagar. However, he had been without a job for more than two months,quot; Superintendent of Police Alok Mittal told Newsline.
The booty recovered from Labh Singh includes three pairs of ear-rings and a purse with Rs 1,250.
