Dalit-Muslim sangathan
Vishwa Dalit-Muslim Sangathan organised a convention on the Future of Dalits and Minorities in India in the 21st Century8217; in the Capital on Sunday. The convention opened with a shradhanjali to brave soldiers, who sacrificed their lives for the country in the Kargil Sector. The resolutions passed at the meet include one to give Pali the same status as Sanskrit and establish a university in the name of Lord Buddha.

Artist8217;s Corner
Chairman of NDMC, B.P. Mishra inaugurated an exhibition at the Artist Corner in Nehru Park on Sunday. The exhibits are on the theme Save Environment8217; and include paintings and sculptures.

IGNOU warning
IGNOU has warned students applying for admission to computer programmes against misleading information being provided by their former partners Aptech Computers. According to IGNOU officials, the university has terminated its partnership with Aptech.
