CHANDIGARH, Sept 17: A declamation contest for the freshers of the college was organised today in Government College for Girls, Sector 11. The contest was held in three languages 8212; English, Hindi and Punjabi 8212; and was presided over by Principal Vijay Lakshmi Sharma.
The results of the contest are:
In the Hindi category, Nidhi Sharma bagged the first prize, Ruchi Bawa second and Amanpreet, third prize.
In Punjabi section, Radha Rani bagged the first prize, Preetinder and Harpreet Kaur stood second and third, respectively. In the English category, the first prize was shared by Latika and Prerna, second by Bhavna and Noopur and third by Gurneet and Sindura.
