Yesterday, unidentified militants had hurled a grenade at the Kupwara bus stand, injuring 37 persons, out of which three, including a special police officer, succumbed to their injuries.

Sources said these attacks were probably being carried out with some gameplan in mind, because civilians were targetted in both the incidents. They said police have yet to ascertain the identity of the attackers.
