CHANDIGARH, Dec 13: Local DAV College, Chandigarh, won both their league encounters to assert their supremacy in the Panjab University Inter-College men8217;s softball championship being played at PU Campus.
DAV humbled PU Campus, 12-1, in their first league match, while they got the better of Government College, Ludhiana, 14-1, in their second encounter.
Arya College, Ludhiana, also scored 5-4 win over Government College, Ludhiana. In the last league match of the day Arya College, Ludhiana, held PU Campus to 6-6.
Roshan excels
Roshan Lal8217;s all round performance 27 not out and 3 for 17 enabled Tiwari Telecom XI beat Friends Cricket Club, Panchkula by four wickets in the 10th Bathany cup cricket tournament held at CRPF ground here today.
In another match Chetna Crickt Club defeated Fauji Cricket Club by 7 wickets.
