Crossover delayed as confusion prevails

Seven Indians and two residents of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir managed to cross the Line of Control at Poonch on Monday after waiting all day. The reason 8212; lack of communication between the two sides. While the passengers were asked to report at the office of Deputy Commissioner Poonch at 8 am, the bus carrying the passengers upto the Chakkan-da-Bagh post was flagged off at 2 pm by the DC in the presence of SSP Poonch, S D Singh Jamwal. After reporting at DC office, the passengers were informed that a message had been received from the Chakkan-da-Bagh post that except few Pakistani soldiers, there was no official on the other side to receive them.

Later it was decided that the PoK residents would cross first. Finally, the crossover took place at 4 pm.
