According to the police, the deceased had an love affair with his landlord’s daughter.

Even Parvesh and Devender were in love with the same girl and they decided to eliminate Mukesh. On the night of January 4 they invited Mukesh over for drinks and later took him to a local theater for a night show.

While returning from the movie they persuaded him to come with them to a lonely park where a girl was supposedly waiting for them. Mukesh went along and the trio attacked and killed him there. His body was dumped in the park. The police are looking for the third accused.

Robbers held in West Delhi n THE police have busted a gang of thieves with the arrest of two persons, Dharmender Singh and Sushil Kumar aged 22 years hailing from Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh. According to the police, the two were nabbed during aroutine checking at Ramesh Nagar in West Delhi.

The two were stopped by the police and their search led to the recovery of knives in their possession. They were brought to the police station where they revealed that they had stolen Rs 90,000 from the Wazir Pur industrial area. They said that they had robbed persons drawing cash from the bank.

The two disclosed that one of them used to go inside the bank on some pretext and identified the person withdrawing a large sum of money. When the person came out he was followed and robbed at a lonely spot.

Four held for raping girl

According to the police, the victim was on her way to meet a friend when she was abducted. The four persons came in a tempo from behind and pulled her inside. They then took her to a farmhouse and raped her. The girl registered a case at the police station and the four accused were arrested on Thursday.
