Anand Sharma is an experienced political hand and should have been more careful. The Union minister has made the maximum of the ongoing centenary celebrations of the Satyagraha, editing a book on Gandhian philosophy and getting the PM and Sonia Gandhi to attend a high-profile function to release it last week. But in the Congress, too much attention is not a good thing, and Sharma finds himself in the dock for claiming all the credit at the expense of Sonia. The short film at the function underlined Sharma8217;s efforts to get Gandhi Jayanti declared as the International Non-Violence Day by the UN. Unfortunately for him, he had missed the fact that Sonia had written to the UN Secretary-General with the same request.
