VADODARA, Aug 10: The State unit of the Communist Party of India (CPI) has resolved to agitate against the alleged failure of Bharatiya Janata Party at the Centre and State in the near future.Speakers at the three-day 17th State-level convention here on Monday alleged that poor people of the country were being taken for a ride by the government.It was time the CPI reminded the people of the alleged corruption and inertia of other political parties, they said, referring to inflation and deteriorating law and order situation in the country.They also admitted the dire need to revitalise the party's organisation and its activities. A report in this context was presented by the State secretary Chintamani Panjankar over which the district-level leaders held a detailed discussion.The participants included Party's central committee member Shamim Faizi, A N Sheikh, Rakumar Singh, Ashok Kahar V B Chavda, G S Pillai, Ramsagar Parihar, Girijashankar Pande, Pushpa Patel and Kamla Bhaiya.
