THANE, January 16: Four corporators of Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) were arrested and an executive engineer was suspended for violating the model code of conduct.The corporators are Milind Patankar, Madhavi Naik, Mahendra Komurlekar and Rajan Kine, Collector Shrikant Singh said here today.The corporators had attended various functions including the inauguration of water pipelines, beautification of a lake and inauguration of civic works in the district, Singh said.Executive Engineer Yashowardhan Misal was suspended for issuing work orders the day the project was cleared.
