PANCHKULA, JUNE 22: Some 140 police personnel from Panchkula, Kurukshetra and Kaithal gathered here yesterday for a three-day workshop intended to find ways to improve the image of the police and establish good relations with the general public.
Inaugurating the programme, Superintendent of Police Alok Mittal said the police can get valuable information from the public if the police-public relations are good.

Several senior officials of the Haryana Police also spoke on the occasion. Among the topics discussed were fundamental rights and human rights and the ideals and ethics of police work.
