The Mettur Judicial Magistrate today granted conditional bail to actress Khushboo accused of defaming Tamils with her views on pre-marital sex.
Earlier, Khushboo had surrendered handing over a petition seeking bail and discharge from the case filed by one Murugan, who sought her arrest for insulting Tamil women by her remarks. Khushboo8217;s lawyer pleaded for bail on the ground that she had a one-year-old daughter. The magistrate sanctioned the bail, directing Khushboo to remit Rs 5,000 as surety.
