PUNE, Oct 4: All the offices of the revenue department will now issue the precise date for the clearance of various works on the very date of accepting the related documents from the people.
Speaking at a seminar on single-window system started by the department from August 15, district Collector Vijaykumar Gautam said the computers were being extensively used for executing the task.
This would avoid unnecessary inconvenience to the common people who have to frequent the offices for getting their documents cleared, he added.He said a time schedule would also be put up on the notice boards of the offices stating the availability of the officers ranging from talathi to the collector.
To address the common complaints regarding the single-window system, a separate box will be kept at the offices. Common grievances would be taken up on priority, he added.
