CHANDIGARH, Feb 8: The Chandigarh Olympic Association (COA) is participating in 14 disciplines in the Manipur National Games to be held in Imphal from February 14 to 25.

The contingent of more than 150, including managers and coaches, were ceremonially flagged off today by Deputy Commissioner-cum-Director Sports R K Rao, from Sector 42 Sports Complex. The teams would leave tomorrow.

Inderjit Singh Sandhu has been appointed chef-de-mission.

No decision has been taken regarding the judokas as the matter is pending in the court. The fate of the judokas would be decided tomorrow.

The other participating teams includes: Gymnastic (men), volleyball (women), hockey (women), athletics (men and women), boxing (men), kayaking and canoeing (men), fencing (men and women), tennis (men and women), rowing (men and women), rifle shooting (men and women) and triathlon (men and women).
