Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi on Sunday appealed to the United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) militants to return home and hold negotiations to resolve the insurgency problem.

Addressing the 25th anniversary of bihu celebrations at Jeraigaon, the ULFA ‘commander-in-chief’ Paresh Barua’s village in Dibrugarh district, Gogoi said the ‘‘boys must return to the state and cooperate with the Government in initiating talks.
