Close shave for Karnataka DyCM at road opening

Though Siddaramaiah had earlier inaugurated work on the road by offering a traditional puja, partymen wanted him to launch the work by operating the earthmover. The Deputy Chief Minister, boarded the earthmover parked under a high-tension wire. When Siddaramaiah pressed a button to mark the commencement of the work, the vehicle, which was in a neutral state, rushed towards the gathering.
