PANCHKULA, Feb 12: Former Haryana chief minister and president of the Indian National Lok Dal, Om Prakash Chautala today reiterated his threat to withdraw support to the BJP government if the prices of essential commodities were not reversed.Talking to mediapersons in the township today, Chautala said there have been certain irregularities in issuing yellow ration cards to people below the poverty line, and demanded that the matter be investigated. Chautala is in the township to confer with party functionaries.He also alleged that the speaker of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha has misused his powers in order to protect the interests of the Bansi Lal government. He added his party would appeal to the President that the Bansi Lal government be dismissed as it was corrupt and inefficient.Chautala also said the Centre should ensure supply of electricity, water, and fertilizers to farmers at subsidised rates.He also opined that the Congress has lost mass support in Haryana and the stae congress chief Bhoopinder Singh Hooda's scheduled rally in Jind would not be successful.
