Governor puts pressure on CM
In a move aimed at putting pressure on the RJD government in Bihar, the Governor, Justice B. M. Lal today recommended removal of officials of 8220;dubious and doubtful character8221; whose conduct during yesterday8217;s Lok Sabha elections 8220;left much to be desired.8221;
An 8220;anguished8221; Governor has written a letter to the Union Home Ministry with a copy to the Election Commission seeking removal of police and administrative officials of 8220;dubious and doubtful character8221;. The Governor said he had repeatedly apprised Bihar Chief Secretary and state CEO of his 8220;serious concerns8221; about holding of free and fair elections in the state.
