8 stolen cycles recovered
The city police have arrested Charanjit Singh, a resident of Maloya here on charges of theft. The police claim that 18 cycles have been recovered from his possession and eight cases of cycle theft have been solved.
Car stolen from PGI parking
V.P. Anil, a resident of Sector 15, reported to the police that his car CHF 108, was stolen from the PGI parking. The police have registered a case under Section 379 of the IPC.
One held with liquor
Mohinder Singh, a resident of Indira Colony in Manimajra, was arrested from the Industrial Area, and 12 bottles of rum were reportedly recovered from his possession. The police have booked him under Sections 61, 1 and 14 of the IPC.
