These are names of functions in a two-day programme being held on Saturday and Sunday under the aegis of Bharat Uttar Pradesh unit of Special Olympics, an organisation dedicated to bringing about improvement among mentally children/persons through the discipline of sports. 8220;With an eye on the next Special Olympics, we are holding an event in which athletic and sport events would be held,8221; informed Rajeev Prasad, Coordinator-Healthy Athletes. 8220;In between the sports events, a team of health experts will examine the participants for their hearing, sight and oral hygiene/health,8221; he added. Children from various schools would attend the event to be held in the AMC Central School Stadium and would be familiarised with the special needs of the participants.
