JALANDHAR, Nov 17: An Indian delegation consisting of senior BSF officers crossed over to Pakistan from the joint check post at Wagha today to hold talks with their Pakistani counterparts at the biannual meeting with the Director General of Pakistan Rangers.
A BSF communique said here that the three-day meeting would discuss problems related to the international border, including illegal border crossings, timely construction or repair of missing or damaged boundary pillars, and anti-smuggling measures.
The Indian delegation consists of IG, BSF (Punjab), IG, BSF (Rajasthan and Gujarat), IG, BSF (Jammu) and officers of the Survey of India, Public Works Department and the Narcotics Control Bureau.
