Mumbai, September 15: Defending champions Bombay Gymkhana entered the final of The Famous Grouse All-India and South Asia Rugby Tournament, defeating hosts Calcutta Cricket and Football Club 12-6 in a hard-fought low-scoring match at the CC & FC ground, Calcutta on Thursday, according to information received here.

Holy Family, Udayachal top

Holy Family (Andheri) and Udayachal (Vikhroli) claimed the under-14 Knock-out and under-14 Group IV titles of the MSSA-Colgate Inter-School Football Tournament at the MSSA-Castrol Schools Sports Centre, Azad Maidan, on Friday.

Result of finals – U-14-KO: Holy Family 4 (Lajparaj Vyas, Ashok R Pawaskar, Mathaias Coutinho, Cornell Rocha) bt Don Bosco, Matunga 2 (Noble Jacob, Bruce Fernandes). U-14-IV: Udayachal 3 (Swapnil Bhoir, Roshan Jadhav, Juned Ansari) bt St Blaise, Andheri 0.
