BJP will hang Afzal if voted to power, says Katiyar

BJP will ensure that Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru is hanged if the party is voted to power in the next general elections, a senior leader said.

“Guru will be hanged the same day, the day when our Government will take oath,” party’s national general secretary Vinay Katiyar said, expecting a majority BJP Government after next general election in 2009.

He blamed the Congress party for the serial blasts in Ahmedabad and Bangalore.

On the land issue of Amarnath shrine board, Katiyar said Jammu and Kashmir Government revoked the transfer of land under pressure from the terrorists and separatists groups.
