NEW DELHI, February 4: MTNL (Delhi) won the 14th All India Telecom cricket tournament beating Tamil Nadu by seven wickets at Harbaksh Stadium here today.

Electing to bat, Tamil Nadu scored 208 for nine wickets. Rajesh (57) and Kesvan (44) were the top scorers.

In reply, MTNL (Delhi) achieved the target of 209 losing three wickets in 41.5 overs. C B S Bist scored an unbeaten 55 and the other principal contributors were Mahesh Atri (45), Sanjeev Khanna (43) and Naveen Bhatt (42).

MTNL (Mumbai) got the third position beating UP by seven runs at Jamia Millia. MTNL (Mumbai) made 134 in 30 overs. In reply, UP were dismissed for 127 in 30 overs. RP Mungekar of MTNL took five wickets giving away 21 runs in five overs.

CS Paul of UP and NC Bhatt of MTNL (Delhi) were adjudged the best players of the tournament.
