Launching a fresh round of war of words, International Cricket Council (ICC) said the questions raised by the Indian board over the terms of player contracts were “out of date and irrelevant” and made it clear that it was critical that BCCI acted quickly to fulfil “its contractual commitments to world cricket”. However ICC president Malcolm Gray urged the board not to go into “irrelevant” issues which, he claimed, have already been addressed by ICC chief executive Malcolm Speed in a letter to BCCI.

Mukesh on roll

DHAKA: Mukesh Kumar recorded his eighth victory in the Hero Honda Indian golf tour by capturing the third edition of Dutch-Bangla Bank Open here. Mukesh had a final tally of 14-under 274 and submitted a card of four-under 68 on the final day. Digvijay Singh was five strokes behind.
