CALCUTTA, Jan 8: India's newly-appointed cricket captain Mohammed Azharuddin would want to forget the previous year and start afresh, a feeling shared by the team coach Anshuman Gaekwad.Terming 1997 as ``not a happy year,'' Azharuddin said the team was keen to do well in Bangladesh. The squad left for Dhaka to play in the Jubilee Cup being held there to mark Bangladesh's Independence. Pakistan, along with the hosts form the other teams in the tournament.Azharuddin said that the side was confident prior to the tournament and hoped that they would be able to do well. The skipper added that he hasn't seen the Dhaka pitch for a long time but has been told that it will be slow and may assist spinners.Both the captain and the coach said that the players were in good shape and wanted to reverse the slide which India has faced in recent times. Speaking about captaincy, Azharuddin said that the job is always a challenge and he hoped he would be able to live up to the expectations. ``Of course, the pressure isalways there at the international level. It is up to the individual how he handles it.''
