PUNE, May 10: Atul Gogawale8217;s brilliant all-round display helped Karmaveer Kreeda Mandal storm into the semi-finals of the Rahulgiri Trophy under-35 kilograms district-level kabaddi tourney with a convincing 12-point 50-38 win over Badami Haud, at the Modern College grounds here today.

Karmaveer was later joined by Gandhi Chowk who registered a 69 point win over Saraswati Kreeda Mandal, while Navchaitanya recorded the best result of the day 8212; a two point win over Kohinoor Krida Mandal.

The semi-finals and finals have been scheduled for Monday, May 11

RESULTS Quarter-finals
Under-35 kgs: Gandhi Chowk, Chikli: 91 beat Saraswati Kreeda Mandal: 24 H/T: 31-2; Navchaitanya Kreeda Mandal: 40 beat Kohinoor Krida: 38 H/T: 16-13; Karmaveer Krida Mandal: 50 beat Badami Haud: 38 H/T: 23-18.

Under-45 kgs: Kohinoor Kreeda Mandal: 68 beat Modern Sports Club: 39 H/T: 31-28.

Under-55: Gandhi Chowk, Chikli: 42 beat Anjuman Tarun Mandal: 28 H/T: 18-7.

Under-55 kgs: Saraswati Kreeda Mandal: 72 beat Badami Haud :40 H/T: 28-21.
