Four bodies were today found in Karbi Anglong district, where the warring Karbi and Dimasa groups yesterday torched over 120 houses belonging to each other after a two-day lull in the ethnic clashes. Today, 60 abandoned houses were set on fire.The bodies were found in Hojaipur, Bokolia, Singh Teron and Jamunapar areas, police said. The identities of the dead were yet to be ascertained. Five villagers of Singh Teron were reported to be missing, too.Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi has appealed to the people to maintain calm and ensure that innocent people were not harmed. In his message aired on Guwahati Doordarshan, Gogoi also urged the media to display restraint. Night curfew was on in the disturbed areas, and the Army was patrolling sensitive areas.The clashes have claimed 35 lives so far since they broke out on September 26.
