MUMBAI, FEB 12: Republican Party of India (RPI) leader Prakash Ambedkar called upon parties with more than 50 members in Parliament to move a no-confidence motion against the Atal Behari Vajpayee Government for the repeated attacks against Christians and churches in various parts of the country.

Secular parties have only condemned these incidents but it is necessary to take action to save India from being isolated in the international arena, he said.

Ambedkar also alleged that the money collected from non-resident Indian Hindus was used in these attacks to spread terror. If the attacks continue, Indians of all faiths residing abroad will become targets; already, Indians are boycotted in some countries after the Staines’ murder, he said.
