NEW DELHI, June 2: There has been a revolt of sorts at the School Games Federation of India (SGFI).At its annual general body meeting held in the Capital over the weekend, Olympian wrestler and deputy director of Delhi Administration (Sports) at Chhattarsaal Stadium, Satpal was elected general secretary of the federation. He replaced B D Gandhi, who had held the post for almost three decades.Jeet Gupta of Jammu and Kashmir was elected president, in place of Negi of Himachal Pradesh. Gabriel of Kerala will be the new trasurer. Satpal said that new programmes to be conducted by the SGFI would be chalked out shortly. SGFI had earlier announced its plan to host the next junior world cup (for schools) in India towards end of this year. Top
