CHANDIGARH, Jan 1: Mayor Kewal Krishan Adiwal was given a warm reception by Sector 18 Market Welfare Association, shopkeepers of Dadumajra Colony and the residents of Sector 23 at different functions today. The Mayor conveyed his greetings to the people on the New Year and assured them of speedy redressal of their long pending demands.Adiwal took part in an akhand path organised by the UT Horticulture Department in Sector 32, besides participating in a religious congregation organised by the Municipal Corporation employees in Sector 29.While addressing a gathering the Mayor said officers and councillors of the Corporation should work towards the faster development of the city.
