Virender Sehwag became the eighth Indian batsman to score 1000 runs against Australia in Tests.

Sachin Tendulkar 2352 runs, off 25 Tests, VVS Laxman 1823, off 18, Rahul Dravid 1717, off 22, Sunil Gavaskar 1550, off 20, Gundappa Viswanath 1538, off 18 and Dilip Vengsarkar 1304, off 24 were the other Indian batsmen who scored more than 1000 runs against Australia.

8226; 21st DRAW

The fourth and final Test which ended in a draw was the 21st drawn match between the two teams in 72 Tests.

8226; 10th SERIES WIN

This series victory was Australia8217;s 10th series win over India in 19 series, and the second under Ricky Ponting.
