ADECCO has snapped up a 67-per cent controlling stake in Indian staffing firm Peopleone Consulting, establishing its leadership in a fast-growing jobs market, the world’s biggest staffing group said on Wednesday.
The purchase will make Adecco the market leader in India, whose staffing market has almost doubled in each of the last two years as the country’s economy expands, the jobs firm said. Adecco did not disclose the financial details of the deal. ‘‘With the acquisition Adecco makes a important move into a market with high future potential,’’ Vontobel analyst Chris Burger said in a note.
