AMRITSAR, Aug 18: Punjab government has ordered suspension of three more doctors of Amritsar Civil Hospital, making a tally of six on the charges of fabricating medico-legal reports and taking bribe after they were found guilty in preliminary inquiries against them.
According to official sources, those placed under suspension are Harbant Singh Gill, former senior medical officer of civil hospital who was earlier transferred to Narot, Jaimal Singh in Gurdaspur district, Jaswant Singh and Mukhtiar Singh, both medical officers.
Earlier, three other doctors A.K. Sondhi, Ravi Kant and Surinder Singh were suspended on similar charges. Their headquarters had been fixed at civil surgeon office, Mansa.
