CHANDIGARH, April 23: Elephants patiently waited under the massive tents here today as excited children thronged the ground opposite Sector 17 Inter State Bus Terminus to witness last minute preparations for the circus beginning tomorrow.
Coming to the City for the fourth time after ten years, Amar circus, will daily present three shows of two and a half hour duration. The first show will commence at 1 p.m. followed by second presentation at 4 p.m. The third show begins at 7 p.m.
The attractions include, mid-air act, balancing trapeze at a height of about 40 feet besides performances by an Australian parrot, lions and elephants. The tickets, according to the organisers, are costing Rs 15, 25, 35 and 50. The team will be here for 40 days.
