2 lakh jewellery looted in broad daylight

BANGALORE, June 15: In broad daylight robbery, three miscreants barged into an apartment in Basavanagudi and decamped with gold jewellery worth about Rs 2 lakhs after threatening an aged women who was alone at the house. Police said the miscreants rang the bell at the apartment around 11.30 am and after the old woman opened the door they pushed her into a room and tied her hands with a rope. Police said they gad definite clues ans would soon nab the culprits.
