1 killed in another day of blasts

In continuing violence, one person was killed and eight injured on Saturday in a series of blasts across Assam, taking the toll in attacks by suspected Ulfa militants since Thursday to six dead and nearly 60 injured.

One person was killed and two injured when a grenade was thrown on the Ganeshguri flyover near the high security state secretariat at Dispur, SSP Nitul Gogoi said. Sibsagar district was rocked this evening by three explosions within 30 minutes that left three persons injured.
