Men are keen to know about family background:survey

Commenting on the findings of the study Rohit Manghnani,Business Head at Jeevansathi.com said,” “The primary reason for this mindset among men would be parents consent. Women on the other hand are very particular about a secure life which is why profession and education are key factors taken into consideration by them.”

Of the male respondents who took the survey 49% said that family background of the bride is a key factor considered by them when looking for a life partner. Physical Appearance of the girl also emerges as an important factor under consideration with 48% of men recommending the same. The least considered factors are Education and Profession.

Among the women who responded to the survey 53% feel that education and profession are the most important factors that need to be considered when looking for their match. Caste/Family Background emerges as the second most preferred factor for women and physical appearance seems to the least relevant attribute.
